The State Courts Centre for Specialist Services (CSS) is a one-stop multi-disciplinary service providing counselling and psychological services to vulnerable witnesses, distressed court users and bereaved family members.

CSS has a team of experienced Psychologists, Counsellors and Social Workers to provide clinical services such as psychological assessment and brief counselling to court users in need.  CSS is a bridge between community agencies and the courts on matters of psychological and social issues, and provides case management to assist court users in their journey to improve their lives.

The Centre's staff also take on an educational role by providing a learning ground for undergraduate students in the field of psychology, counselling and social welfare from tertiary institutions.

The Centre undertakes research on current programmes and trends in the field in order to develop new programmes to help improve our counselling and psychological services.
